Star Wars Epicness Continue

So our neighbors across the street (Tony, Justin, and Melanie) are pretty much the coolest neighbors I have ever had, especially since they have in their possession "Star Wars: Epic Duels". After playing it twice now I am totally in love with game. The premise of the game is you choose a major character and a minor character(s). The first time I played I was Han Solo and Chewbacca in which I was the first one eliminated when Darth Maul eliminated both my characters in the same turn. Definitely a disappointment but it was enough to make me want to play again. Well we just finished another game in which I was Yoda. Yoda is all about being defensive and he is my favorite character so far because people pretty much kill themselves trying to take out Yoda. I think the "defensive strategy" is the one for me. Overall, a 10 out of 10 on my board game fun-ness scale.

Heroes

Recently I just finished watching Seasons 1 and 2 of Heroes from the very beginning... I am totally in love with this show even though every single person I talk to now says it got too weird and now sucks. I disagree and think that those people suck (ok, im kidding). I can't decide who I like more between Hiro, Peter, or Sylar. I like Hiro because he is a man on a mission to save the world, going on a spiritual and personal journey to discover himself and his powers. I like Peter and Sylar alot because they have many powers and represent the good and evil side of acheiving power. Sylar kills his victims to obtain power, and Peter merely absorbs powers through personal contact with people. I kind of wonder who I would be more like if I had the oppurtunity to absorb power and learn new abilities. Yatta!!

Theft from the left..

So today I went out to lunch with a bunch of my fellow worker guys... we went to Mountain Mike's... two years ago I was the delivery driver for that place... and so I should get a discount on food right? Maybe not... but today I walked up to the cashier and placed my order.. i asked her "Can I get the "I used to work here discount?"".. she didnt say anything and then charged me full price... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! after feeling rejected I went back to my table... it wasnt until 20 minutes after placing my order that i realized that I hadnt paid!! I asked one of my colleagues if i had paid and they gave me a blatant "No! Why did you do that?" AAAHHH!!! I then proceeded to track down the cashier and asked her if I had paid and she told me that I hadnt... and was angry about it too... I quickly paid the cashier and returned to my seat embarrased... even though my colleagues thought I could have got away with it... lesson learned...

GI JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEE!!!

Tuesday is no Longer A Blues Day

So after weeks of slaving away, inhaling insulation, fighting the heat at work, and being slightly fed-up with my job, I finally caught a break today. Let me start over... I work for the Reedley School District. I work for the Tech Department and am in charge of whatever my boss tells me to do. Up to this point I have been busy installing projectors at different schools in the district and am quite tired of ladder and maintenance work. Alright, back to my blog. I got to work on 30 computers in an air conditioned room BY MYSELF today! I did a lot of work and even finished two crossword puzzles on my break! It was the greatest work day in a long time. There are a few characters at work that make my job a little frustrating and being able to work by myself today made me happy. I'm sad that these days are one in a million though. I'm probably going to have to go back to installing projectors and fighting the heat tomorrow. I still love my job.
